I entered University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2021 to major in Cognitive Science. My first fall quarter of 2021 was held remotely, and I had to endure ten weeks of online classes at night from 1 AM to 7 AM due to the US-Korea time lag.

I took Intro Psychobiology (PSYCH 15 LEC), Introductory Sociology (SOCIOL 1 LEC), Life Concepts & Issues (LIFESCI 15 LEC) in the fall quarter. Professor Jay Phelan's course was particularly memorable with his TA sessions. It was a pleasure to have Kelly Barr as my TA in that course.

I was able to obtain GPA of 4.0/4.0 in the fall quarter and made it into the Dean's list.

Multiple factors including, but not limited to, tuition, vaccination policy, and course satisfaction led me to quit after the first Fall quarter and enter Yonsei University under the Integrated Science and Engineering division (ISED) in 2022.

I majored in Nano Science and Engineering (NSE) and double majored in Economics of the Underwood Division.

I continued to take 21 credits each semester and a course during the winter break to fulfill the graduation requirement in three years.

I worked as a part-time TA in the UIC STEM tutoring lounge for numerous undergraduate courses. Dr. Jon Andrew Bailey, director of UIC STEM tutoring lounge and the professor of a few of my major courses, requested several times to work as TA for several of the general science and calculus courses.

I received merit-based scholarship every semester during my three years of university, which allowed me to save a lot of what would have been spent on tuition.

Full scholarship for 2nd sem.

1/3 scholarship for 3rd sem.

2/3 scholarship for 4th sem.

2/3 scholarship for 5th sem.

1/3 scholarship for 6th sem.

This site is a collection of what I have done throughout Yonsei university. My previous work in UCLA is not included.

This collection concentrates mostly on academic work that occasionally includes group collaborations. These include assignments, projects, papers, presentations, etc.

Two lab projects connected to my first major (NSE) were significant, both in the first semester of junior year.

First is the research on the impact of applied external resistor and variance in pulse rise and fall time on polarity-induced threshold voltage shift in Te-based ovonic threshold switching (OTS) chalcogenides for selector-only memory (SOM) applications.

This research was conducted in the NSE Senior Thesis course. I was able to work in Professor Jong-Souk Yeo's Nano Convergence Systems (NCS) group. Many thanks to my advisor Professor Yeo and my mentor Siwon Park, along with other graduate students in the NCS group including Su-Bong Lee, Young-Min Kim, and Sangyeop Kim. The project would not have been successful, with the lack of resources and properly functioning tools under the time constraint of one semester, without the assistance of my mentor.

Second is the research on the Impact of oxygen partial pressure modulation on threshold voltage and mobility of thin-film transistor (TFT).

This research was conducted in the Introduction to Nanotechnology and Laboratory course. Many thanks to graduate students Beomsoo Kim and Sunmin Song, and my undergraduate team members Zeyu Lu, Chaeyoung Lee, Yunseo Lee, and Seoha Baek.

The site's sole purpose is to display my previous work.
